Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible across much of the area through this afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. A few storms will be capable of producing damaging winds and hail up to quarter size. The severe threat should end over interior southeast Mississippi and southwest Alabama late this morning into early this afternoon, and across the remainder of the area by 4 pm. conditions hazardous to small craft are expected to impact marine zones tonight into Wednesday morning with the assistance with cold air drainage as a cold front continues pushing south of the region over the central Gulf.
