Temperatures will be near to slightly above normal tonight, this weekend, and into next week, along with plenty of humidity. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 80s to mid 90s, with overnight lows only dipping into the 60s to low 70s. Southerly breezes during the day will provide a little relieve for those working or playing outside, but staying hydrated will be important. People with health problems should take it easy and avoid long periods outdoors. Scattered pop-up thunderstorms will occur Saturday night through Sunday evening, but most places will remain dry. Due to the heat and humidity, a few of these storms could become severe.
