An Extreme Heat Warning has been issued for the Grand Canyon below 4000 feet elevation for Tuesday through Wednesday. Afternoon temperatures will reach 105 to 110, creating hazardous conditions for hikers. Hiking during the daytime is discouraged in the lower canyon.
