Showers and a few thunderstorms will move into the are through this evening. Two other periods with showers and storms will bring areas with heavy rain. The first will be an area of thunderstorms that will arrive area late tonight and into Thursday morning. A second area of storms is expected to develop over southeast Iowa Thursday afternoon and evening. Significant ponding or even flooding in low lying areas may occur.
