A narrow band of heavy snow will run from north central Iowa into northeast Wisconsin today with upwards of 8 plus inches possible in this band. In addition, strong north winds will gust from 35 to 55 mph. Where the snow band and strongest winds overlap, white-out conditions are possible, mostly confided to parts of southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa. Highest impacts expected this afternoon.
