Slightly cooler temperatures than yesterday are expected today with highs in the 40s. Although, west-northwest winds gusting above 20 mph will make it feel like the 20s to 30s. Rain/Snow chances primarily affect locally northern counties from southeast Minnesota through central Wisconsin this afternoon into tonight. Cannot rule out flurries or sprinkles elsewhere however. The cooling trend takes hold tonight through Thursday as wind chill values remain below zero Wednesday through Thursday. While measurable snow chances are unlikely, flurry chances frequent the next few days.
