Fire danger will increase again over much of the area Thursday afternoon and evening, as southwest winds gusting 30-45 mph develop and relative humidity falls in the 8 to 12 percent range. A fire weather watch has been issued for the San Luis Valley, the eastern mountains, the I-25 corridor and portions of the southeast plains, with the highest danger and strongest winds along the NM border, where several hours of gusts to 45 mph are possible. #cowx
