Widespread thunderstorms are expected this evening and into the overnight hours. Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible with hail to golf ball size, wind gusts to 70 mph being the main concerns, though an isolated tornado across portions of north central Kansas can’t be ruled out. Lows tonight will be in the 50s with southerly winds gusting 30 to 40 mph. Scattered thunderstorms are expected on Friday. Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible during the early afternoon hours on Friday, with large hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado possible. Scattered thunderstorms will come to an end by the evening hours on Friday, with dry weather expected Friday night into Saturday. Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening, with large hail, damaging wind gusts and an isolated tornado all possible. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue into the day on Sunday before coming to an end Sunday night.
